New Energy Youth Robotics Team Advances to FIRST World Championship

New Energy education youth robotics team Overpowered Spicy Robot Jr. has earned the opportunity to participate in the FIRST Championship, the world’s largest youth robotics event, after advancing from the regional **FIRST LEGO League Explore program.
The FIRST LEGO League Explore program is designed for younger students and focuses on introducing children to the fundamentals of science, engineering, and teamwork through hands-on learning with LEGO robotics. Teams work together to research a real-world theme, build a LEGO model with moving parts, and present their ideas and discoveries.
At the regional event, the team Overpowered Spicy Robot Jr. demonstrated strong creativity, collaboration, and enthusiasm for STEM learning. Through their project and presentation, the students showcased their understanding of robotics concepts while developing important skills such as communication, problem-solving, and teamwork.
Because of their outstanding participation and performance, the team has been selected to advance to the FIRST Championship, which will take place in **Houston, Texas. The international event brings together top youth robotics teams from around the world to celebrate innovation, learning, and the spirit of discovery.
