Introduction

​

We offer a chess program for K -12 students in partnership with Make You Move chess academy. With a balance of structured lessons and supervised play, our students improve their ability to focus, create and implement plans, and adapt their thinking when circumstances change. Along the way, they are introduced to the chess game’s rich history, they learn to win and lose with grace, and to achieve their goals by persevering through adversity.
